Jobber A small wholesaler, one who buys from producers and large wholesalers and sells to small retailers.
Joint and several liability A legal term meaning that each (general) partner is fully liable for all the debts of the partnership and his personal assets may be required to pay off debts incurred by another partner.
Joint venture A business partnership formed for the sake of a specific project. Joint ventures may be undertaken by two or more companies or individuals, or by the government and private companies.
